Terms of Service
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and RingRiddle for the use of the RingRiddle phone number intelligence lookup Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
RingRiddle provides prepaid, per-feature phone number lookups including line type, carrier, and caller name information. Each feature is priced individually, and you select which features to run before any charge is confirmed.
2. Accounts
You must register an account to run paid lookups. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Prepaid Credits and Billing
- You preload your account with USD credits via secured checkout. The minimum top-up is $5.00.
- Credits are reserved up front for the maximum possible charge of a lookup.
- You are charged only for features that complete successfully. A documented no-match counts as a completed result and is charged.
- Fees are itemized per feature and shown to you before you confirm a lookup.
- Except where required by law, prepaid credits are non-refundable once captured for a completed lookup.
4. Pricing Changes
Feature prices and availability may change. Any change applies to lookups performed after the change takes effect. Prices in effect at the time you confirm a lookup govern that lookup.
5. Free Preview
We may offer a free preview lookup on the public landing page. Free previews are limited and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
6. Reports
Purchased lookup results are saved as immutable report snapshots that you may reopen at no extra charge. Saved reports reflect the information returned at the time of the lookup and are not updated thereafter.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion
When you delete your account, your authentication identity is removed, but your lookup history, reports, wallet ledger, and related records are retained for record-keeping, administrative, and compliance purposes and cannot be accessed after deletion.
8. Third-Party Providers
Lookup data is supplied by third-party telecommunications providers, and payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We are not responsible for provider availability, accuracy, or processing errors outside our control.
9. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Terms of Use, including the prohibition on using results for FCRA-covered purposes or to harm any person.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, and its software remain the property of RingRiddle. You retain ownership of the numbers you submit for your own lawful use; results are provided for your use and may not be resold or redistributed without authorization.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RingRiddle is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on a lookup result. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the lookup giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold RingRiddle harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security concerns, or extended inactivity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including data retention and limitation of liability, remain in effect.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the jurisdiction in which RingRiddle operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms or your account may be directed to the support contact provided through the Service.
